Love me a plein air session. The poppy field in super bloom was a solo day trip I took to Lake Elsinore when I still lived in SoCal. I skipped class and went before my afternoon lift during collegiate soccer off season. Ended up being late because of traffic - but it was so worth it. No regrets. Also forgot sunscreen so I ended up a bit toasty...oops.

I love animal prints and the tropics. Pair them together and it's so me. This currently hangs above our headboard at home and I look at it daily. I painted this piece with the Liquitex muted collection. My best friend turned me onto them and I love the pigment in the colors.

This one was a gift for my husband while he was still my boyfriend. He loves outer space and so I thought it would be cool to paint a version of an astronaut for his home office space. I love using metallic paint - when it's good.

My debut is this piece. I still have it a decade later. I remember feeling so proud, it stayed on the easel next to my bed for a few weeks before I hung it so I could admire it. Started really painting around this time because I tore my ACL as a sophomore in college and couldn't play soccer during recovery. There was a lot of sitting, and hence, a lot of painting.

I just remember feeling so free when this idea visited me. I wanted to recreate what my life felt like during an era of adventure, experience, and curiosity.

More metallic. Honestly such a fun piece to create. Took me ~27 hours to create though. I also still own the original of this as well since it's one of my personal favorites. I love how it glimmers in the light; almost makes it seem like it's moving.

Commissioned piece for a teammate of mine who loves his music.

This pairing is bold and beautiful. Used to have a very big, blank wall in the master bathroom of our first house and I decided that these together would go perfect there. Again, I love wild animal prints.

Made this one as well for a friend of mine who ended up pursuing her career in floristry not too many years after this piece. Wanted to create something that represented how I saw her - wild (in a good way!), light, and whimsy.

The yin yang phase. Loved the contrast between squares to represent male and circles to symbolize female; blue for coolness and red for warmth.

Created as a gift for a family member who is a wine enthusiast and invests seriously in artwork. I aspire to have a collection of works in my own home someday like they do in theirs. Loved portraying the elegance surrounding good wine in this piece.

Got lipstick on my lips for this idea. Though I don't love growing tulips (they take up too much real estate!), I still love them. They're such a good standalone stunner in a simple vase for spring.

So modern eclectic to me incorporating my favorite - wild print. Placed a constraint on my creativity where I could only use a square paint brush and no outline for the cheetah. Love the look in how it turned out and most likely will expand on the style.
