It's taken me years to publish a website because I couldn't pick which identity I wanted between all the ones I dabble in. I think instead of creator I should be called an experimenter or tinker-er. Many artists make professional websites, but I have a lot of personality to share and I'd rather be real than hide behind words I don't use in my daily vocabulary. So to get this flowing (and get it done), I'm pouring myself a glass, maybe a bottle, of wine and blasting Olivia Dean in my living room.

My work reflects my playful and energetic personality. I'm not known to hold things in - ideas, thoughts, emotions, interests. Maybe that's the Sagittarius in me, but thank god for art because it allows me to express all those things without judgment. So I have deemed myself a mixed media artist, since my ideas require various mediums and techniques to be shared with others. It's never the same process, it's always a new day, new idea.

What motivates me to do the work is this - I owe it to the idea to make it into the world. I am a muse for the madness and I love it. I enjoy the mess - getting paint on my lululemon leggings and shrugging it off because it's just how it goes, carrying a pocket sketchbook in my purse for the random blurts and fleeting images that visit me, picking out free color swatches at Home Depot for my next project, picking up flowers just because, the shortcut to my notes app on my phone always ready for the next thought...My life is art, art is my life, and I'm here for it.​
